Eunice

Weatherforecasters tell us a large storm named "Eunice" is approaching today. My tower can have it. The antennas, I guess, not. So, just to be shure I lowered the tower. They expect a peak this evening around midnight. Unfortunately I had to do this early in the morning since I have no time over the day and will be back home when all is dark.

Good luck, Bas. I've been reading about the storm and hope all goes well with your antennas/trees.

Very good idea Bas, we have family in England who just had the storm and they said it was very bad. Stay safe and all the best to you and your family.

Today I witnessed the strongest winds and gusts here since we bought the house 20y ago.
So far I can't detect any damage but it's still bad outside and I need to check closer.
It's moving towards you now Bas, and it may get worse...
More stormy weather ahead the coming days. No ARRL contest for me...

Let's hope everything will be fine.

Hallo Bas, Franklin is vanavond heftiger hier dan Eunice. Maar mijn antenna houdt het nog uit hier. 73 Paul

Tnx for the comments guys. Nothing shocking happened. Only a few tiles blew off the roof. Tower is still down but hope to have time for it this weekend. 73, Bas

Unfortunately had some damage on the inverted-V and the 10m LFA. But all has been repaired last weekend and I have been on air already. 73, Bas
