Because I earned gold membership at eQSL I got a present by post, A nice deskclock. Looks nice on top of my Icom. And it's always nice to get a present! I was monitoring WSPR on 10m last week for a few hours. As I do not have much time for radio lately WSPR is really something I could do to be part of the radio-action. With my standard 1 Watt I was heard by: PA0O, PC1CP, PA3FUJ, DC4FS en OY3JE. More spectaculair was my list of received stations: PA0O, PC1CP, PA3FUJ, G8JNJ, IW4BLG (50W!!), FR1GZ (5W, 9490km), V53ARC (1W, 8503km). Almost no sporadic E, but I was certainly satisfied by the results. I will be monitoring 10m WSPR next week as well.

Hello Bas,
That is indeed a nice-looking free gift for the radio shack!
Nice to see a close-up of your 706 as well.
Best wishes and bye for now, Adam
Got to do some reading on their website....
Nice Clock!
Succes! 73 Paul
Adam/John/Paul thank for responding. The eQSL clock is free. But not before you pay a large amount of dollars over the years. Actually I am kind of a member of eQSL and pay 5 USD a month. After about 3 years you get a gold membership and if I'm not mistaking you don't have to pay anymore as gold membership is for live. 73, Bas
Mooi klokje Bas
