I put up the vertical antenna + 4 radials (12m) and the CG3000 autotuner today. It works fine, perfekt tune on the 40,20,17,15,12 and 10m. No problem at all. First I heard was VQ9RD with 5/2 on 20m. I did a quick comparisation between the G5RV and the vertical, and it is approx 5 S-units better. This must be the perfekt vertical. A second test follows this evening. After the test PSK reporter will be listening on PSK31 40m to check propagation tonight.
Map uploaded 13-2-2009 12:10 GMT. Results after 40m band monitoring last night. Not bad I think.
I did a comparisation with Bernard PD7BZ who monitored the same frequency 50km south of my QTH. He did not RX Australia, but did RX some more from the USA.
