After a comment by John AE5X on my previous post I decided to give it a try on 40m to see if I was able to receive his 200mW signal. And yes, I received it without much problems, 12 spots in total:
Hey, very good Bas! Proof again that the poor conditions we frequently complain about are mainly refer to 10-20 meters - the lower bands are as good as ever.
Bas, if you are going to stay on 40m WSPR another day I will put my main rig (the Ultimate 3S you copied is tx-only) on WSPR and see if I can copy you tonight. Antenna here is an 80m dipole (tuned now for 40m) up 27m.
Well, John, I hope the weather is good again now. Actually my plan was to move to 10m. But after I wrote this post I had no time to be in my shack so I'm still on 40. 73, Bas

Leuk Bas, intussen staat WSPR hier ook op 40m te draaien met 1W. 73 Hans, PE1BVQ.

I should have looked at the wx report - we have storms moving in:

so I will have to be QRT until tomorrow with antennas disconnected until Saturday.
Ondertussen ontvangen....altijd leuk, 73, Bas
