Number of spots last 24 hours. Red line is inverted-V, blue line is my 160m sloper, At the point the lines cross I switched to the LOG (Loop On Ground). Next 24 hours will be a comparisation between the inverted-V and the LOG.
Two or more WSPR receive stations with different antennas will quickly reveal which one is best. Although you need at least a 24h comparisation.

Interesting Roland. I was planning a comparisation with a magloop. But given te outcome of your tests with the youloop I'm not that certain I will. I also have a endfed antenna which I can deploy, it might be more interesting?

ReplyDeleteHallo Paul, ja ik gebruik de inverted-V als referentie antenne. Zover heb ik nog geen betere antenne kunnen maken qua ontvangst. Men zegt dat de inverted-V een echte NVIS antenne is, maar mijn praktijk ervaring geeft een heel andere uitkomst.
