Good afternoon Bas, very nice feature to add as FT8 is very popular. It would seem the IC 7610 has been left out in the cold on this update. 73, Mike VE9KK
Indeed Mike, that is strange. Not shure what they mean by "smooth FT8 operation". Very curious about it. So far my IC-7300 works very smooth on all modes including FT8. 73, Bas
Hi Bas, looks like a 1 button press set-up for FT8. as long as you can customize it to your settings it will be useful. even though most ft8 software programs can control the radio when the mode is switched anyway!! seems a bit of a sales pitch for people who think its complicated...will probably work ...lol
No Stu, it is from the IC-705. Anyway, I really don't know exactly what this FT8 button will do. I have made a preset in HRD that sets everything right (filters, nb/nr off, bandwidth etc.). Seems this is the same thing. 73, Bas

bas....just noticed that the picture of the menu screen is not from a 7300. looks more like the 7610 menu !!
