I just read that Greece is now allowed on the 60m band. I guess that will allow at least 4 new DXCC on this band that can be worked easily from Europe. Greece, Dodecanese, Crete and Mount Athos. (Correct me if I am wrong!).
True! New National Frequency Allocation Map allowed Greek Amateur Radio Operators to use 60m band, with a max. EIRP 15W (I know it should be written in dbW or dbm, but that's how it's mentioned in our legislation !!). Already preparing my dedicated 60m FT8 Robot to work 24/7 ... GL de SV5DKL
Hope to work you or your robot this evening Stathis :-) I guess 60m will now get even busier. Gone are the times you could work DX on 60 with only 5W. Anyway, you're most welcome! 73, Bas
Glad to say I saw many Greek stations on 60m this weekend, and managed to work a few. 60m now looks much more like a bread-and-butter band than the sparsely-populated place it used to be a couple of years ago.
