Setting up the new N1MM+ logger for the CQWW RTTY contest
The new N1MM+ contestlogger beta version is now downloadable. I've installed it on the desktop and although I got not much time I will try it in this weekends CQWW RTTY contest. I decided to read and watch some of the excellent videos first. I have to admit that K8UT made some wonderful clear videos about setting up digimodes and macros for digi contests like RTTY. Just a tip from me if you use a soundcard and AFSK (Audio Fase Shift Keying) you need to set "Auto Update TRX offset w/ Mark Freq." on to display the right frequency in the bandmap. I'm planning to participate in a QRP section. Which one is my secret ;-) The plan is to go for a Dutch record. Good luck in the CQWW RTTY contest this weekend if you participate as well! And keep in mind if you see my call, I'm QRP and doing my best to at least make some contacts.

Good evening Bas, once you have given N1MM+ a workout in the contest do a blog post about it. I have used N1MM in the past with CW contests and it was great. Since I have the digi up and running on my PC maybe I will dip my toes in the contest over the weekend. I will be running QRP as well. Good luck Mike
Helaas heb ik zaterdag weinig tijd. Denk morgens even en laat op de avond, verder probeer ik zondag wel qrv te zijn. Zoals het nu lijkt zit ik op de contest lokatie en uiteraard met QRO maar doe alleen mee op de 20m. Als ik hier thuis mee doe is het low power en de meeste banden. Hoop je te werken.
Hallo Peter, die tijd heb ik ook niet hoor. Zal 's morgens rond 5 uur opstaan denk ik om nog een paar uur te kunnen pakken. En 's avonds na 9 uur tot ?. Ik zal je misschien werken op 20m. Maar als de beam niet naar mij staat is dat niet makkelijk met QRP hi. 73, Bas
Looking forward to hearing how you got on in the RTTY contest Bas. I made some QSOs on 80 metres to get new band slots, but was only active for about two hours. 73 de EI2KC.

DeleteHeb je nog niet gehoord. Aanbod valt tegen op 20m. Meeste zullen wel op de hogere banden zijn.
